Overview

All work we do is organized into Projects. Any one of our can lead to a Project which is confirmed via a Hubspot quote and then created in Asana .

We have standard structures for our Asana projects but each Project Manager has the flexibility to deviate when they see fit. There are two types of project: One-Time and Ongoing. One-Time projects have a specific deliverable and start and end date. Ongoing projects are perpetual.

📏 Rules

✅ Do…

• Start projects using the templates in the “Production General” templates in Asana to quickly configure projects in our style.
• Use the Overview tab in Asana to summarize the project and link to the Project Plan or relevant Scope of Work (SOW) .
• As Project Manager, conduct the PM Weekly Ritual weekly or monthly depending on the Client’s Core Coverage tier.
• Delete old projects in our Software whenever the project is completed.
• Add projects to “Portfolios” in Asana to keep them organized.
• Ensure that each project uses the correct Project Code in all contexts where it exists.

🚫 Don’t…

• Run production projects without putting the tasks on the Big Board
• Start projects without a signed quote from Hubspot

Issue Intake Forms

Asana supports Forms. These are custom-built web forms that automatically create a ticket in the Asana project. Our Core Coverage Template includes a basic form by default, and feel free to augment it further.

These automatically feed into the Asana project.
