We conduct a cleanup & reporting process for each client on an ongoing basis. The frequency is based on their Core Coverage tier but is typically weekly.

You can conduct the review process any time, but reports should be done on a weekly basis generally. If the client is on a Micro Core Coverage plan you can do the process less frequently.

Over the years, we have found that that projects with a consistent weekly process rarely go off the rails. The weekly process is one of the most powerful PM tools we have ever found. Do not ignore it!

Steps

Asana Project Review

Review all Tasks within the related Asana Projects. Validate that they are on track and looking good, or intervene to help. Make sure:

Project Plan Review

Review the ‣ board and make sure that each plan has the right status.

Internal Status Report

For each Asana project, create an internal status report using the “Status” button:

Untitled

The internal status report is for our team, not the client. The goal is to update your teammates, particularly those working on the project, about where the project stands.

Please include the “Progress to Date” field, and update the percentage according to your assessment of where the project stands.
