Some clients ask us to communicate with them on platforms we don’t normally use, like Trello or Jira. We do this only when the client has the Enterprise Core Coverage tier. Our project management rhythm is very precise and adding more platforms throws it off and creates more confusion than it prevents.
When doing this, we still only allow the Project Manager and Strategist to be present within those tools, to minimize confusion within our team.
This method does incur additional project management cost, as our people have to shuttle between different systems throughout the work day. This is often worth it for clients, as it saves them time having to be in Asana or translating an email.
