The Definition of Done acts as a recap of the task and is where we identify all the key details the artisan will need to know in order to fulfill the task. A good DoD will act as a “Checklist” for the artisan to go back at the end and ensure that the task is well and truly complete.
More examples: "On the homepage, the Twitter widget now shows the client’s new Twitter account rather than the old one" or "We have designed the new Resources page with two variations and received client approval".
The DoD should answer the question "How can I tell that the work is complete?" without me necessarily having to look at the rest of the task.
