Cantilever believes that employees are entitled to a workplace that keeps business and personal relationships separate. However, we also recognize that sometimes personal relationships can form within the workplace.
Co-workers have the freedom to be in romantic relationships with one another as they please so long as these do not create problems during work. Examples of issues that could arise are chatting during work hours about non-work related items, or helping another person in their work when it's inappropriate to do so.
Any supervisor, manager, executive or other company official in a sensitive or influential position must disclose the existence of a romantic or sexual relationship with the Director of Operations. Managers are not allowed to have romantic relationships with their direct reports. These relationships can sometimes lead to preferential treatment which is why they are not allowed at Cantilever.
