Cantilever Contributors are some of the best in the industry. They add additional capacity to our team so we can do bigger and more ambitious projects. They can add specialist skills that we don’t have in the Core Team.

Our Contributors and Core Team are equal partners in getting our work done. Contributors are more focused on executing the work they are assigned, while Core Teamers are focused more on strategy and client relationship building. Both are required for us to be successful.

Working with Contributors gives us a quick and easy way to try out working together, which can lead to a Core Team engagement eventually. Similarly, some Core Team members may want to shift to Contributor sometimes, to fit their life goals better.

We prefer to pay contributors on a flat monthly rate using a month-to-month agreement. However, we also use hourly agreements when our need for a specific person’s skillset varies.
